Summary:
The Accounting Manager will manage accounting functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
As a key member of the Finance and Accounting department you will provide information primarily of a financial nature including handling high level accounting, managerial accounting, and overseeing financial activities of the company.

Finance o Lead the accounting department and oversee all aspects of account from payroll to tax compliance o Assist with the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning as needed.
o Oversee the activities of the corporate accounting department o Accurately and timely complete and disseminate financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets.
o Manage the accounting team, ensuring the department's accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing, and total corporate payroll tax compliance.
o Assist with the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning.
o Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.
o Insurance applications & renewal processSupervisory responsibility o Calculate and accurately oversee processing of commission calculations for Salons and individuals according to the performance bonus compensation structures.
o Conduct or Manage financial audits within the company either internally or managed by a third party and respond to government agency audit requests.
o Maintain a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
o Establish and maintain professional relationships with outside business partners including Banking, Accounting, 401k, and Healthcare Brokers by having regular meetings.
o Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
o Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile special reports as needed.

Experience:

Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting o Minimum 5 years' experience as a Controller or Public AccountantPhysical Requirements:
